Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Choking, Robbing Woman

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick police have arrested a suspect they believe choked and robbed a woman.

Police say they arrested John M. Rose after a woman reported that a man she knew choked her and stole her wallet around 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Police say Rose has been charged with robbery, theft, assault and a drug-related charge. Police say Rose is being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
