Police: 12-Year-Old In Custody After Allegedly Hitting Prince George's County Officer With Stolen Car

CORAL HILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- A 12-year-old is in custody after allegedly hitting a Prince George's County Police officer with a stolen car, according to police.

Police said officers took the suspect into custody after he crashed the car and it caught fire.

The incident happened early Friday morning at Marlboro Pike and Brooks Drive in the Coral Hills-area, police said.

The officer was injured while trying to pull over the suspect. He was taken to an area hospital but is expected to be okay.
