Police: 1 Dead, 4 Hurt After Md. Shooting

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say one man is dead and four other are injured after a shooting in Capitol Heights.

Police say the shooting occurred after 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of Pard Road.

Police say five men were taken to the hospital, where one man later died from his injuries. Police have not released details about the conditions of the other four men.

Detectives are investigating who fired the shots and why.
