Ron began by talking about what has gone wrong with the Pirates this year saying that it's all about the starting pitching. Garrett Cole is 4-3 and the other 4 starters are 1 and 15 so look no further than that. Francisco Liriano who is pitching tonight against the O's is still in search of win number one on the year.

Ed asked about Andrew McCutcheon and if he is the best complete player in the game today. Ron said he is definitely the best player in the national league but has some competition in the American League.

Ron also talked about the Steelers off-season moves and what they lost and gained as we head toward the 2014-2015 season. Ron also quickly talked about the Penguins flopping out of the playoffs and Dan Bylsma's future as head coach.
