Phil Savage On The NFL Draft And Which Prospects Fit The Ravens Needs

Phil Savage is a former NFL front office member for the Ravens and Browns who is now an analyst for Alabama football broadcasts and a part of the Senior Bowl.

Phil joined Ed and Steve to talk about the upcoming NFL Draft and the prospects the Ravens should keep their eye on with the #6 overall pick.

Phil talked about what the Ravens should do with the #6 pick saying "I think they should avoid wide receiver at that pick, you need a 3 down player...if Laremy Tunsil is there the Ravens would love to turn that card in, and Ronnie Stanley the offensive tackle from Notre Dame also." Ed asked Phil about DeForest Buckner's scouting report and what he can bring with Phil saying "Buckner is one of the highest rated interior defensive lineman...he can fit any defensive structure you're in be it 3-4 or 4-3."

Phil also talked about the Ravens struggles in the draft lately and what kind of changes need to be made saying "my question would be who is the person there who will close the door and say guys we have problems here, it can't be all happy happy behind the scenes."

Phil also talked about the coaching carousel and this weekend's Conference Chmpionship games in the NFL.
