Crews Rescue Farmer Trapped Inside Elkton Silo

ELKTON, Md. (WJZ) -- A farmer was rescued Tuesday morning after being trapped inside a Cecil County silo for several hours.

SkyEye Chopper 13 was over the scene in Fair Hill near Elkton where the rescue took place.

Several rescue crews says  a71-year-old man got stuck inside a corn storage silo in the 300 block of Brick Hill Road.

WJZ was on scene as the man was put inside an ambulance.

It took firefighters nearly four hours to rescue him. He was taken to a Delaware hospital for evaluation.
