67-Year-Old Man Dies From Injuries In Middle River House Fire

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WJZ) — An elderly man died Tuesday afternoon of injuries sustained in a house fire in Middle River.

The victim, 67-year-old Forest Richard Brady, lived in the unit block of Contact Ct, in the home where the fire occurred.

Baltimore County Fire crews responded at 12:16 p.m. to the address and found heavy fire and smoke showing from a single-story home.

During the search of the home, they found Brady in the living room- the room where the fire started- investigators said.

Officials said no one else was in the home besides Brady and they rescued him but he was declared dead at the scene.

The fire was under control at 12:56 p.m. Firefighters said they did not find working smoke alarms in the home.
