Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Nottingham Monday Morning

NOTTINGHAM, Md. (WJZ) -- A pedestrian died after he was hit by a car on Pulaski Highway in Nottingham Monday morning, police say.

Police said 68-year-old Stanley Vingsen Jr. was crossing Pulaski Highway at the intersection of Campbell Boulevard when he was struck by a car making a U-turn. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said the driver stayed at the scene of the crash.

There are no further details on the circumstances on the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
