Woman Struck-and-Killed In Elkridge By Two Vehicles, One Fled
ELKRIDGE (WJZ) -- Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian along Route 1 in Elkridge.
According to police, two vehicles were involved and one fled the scene.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of Route 1 near Bonnie View Lane around 4:40 a.m. A 2002 Toyota SUV was traveling northbound when it 33-year-old Denise Angela White, of Baltimore, walking in the roadway.
The driver of the Toyota, 53-year-old Keith Corbin of Elkridge, stopped on the side of the road, but another vehicle then struck White lying in the roadway. That car did not remain on the scene.
Corbin is cooperating with police.
The second vehicle is described as a dark-colored SUV.
