Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run In Elkridge
ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) — Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in the 6800 block of Dorsey Road, near Douglas Legum Dr.
The suspect vehicle was captured on video from a doorbell camera at a nearby residence captured the video of the truck just after the collision and is described as a commercial dump truck with a white cab pulling a trailer with a bobcat or similar piece of equipment onboard.

At approximately 7:19 p.m., Huma Rani Isfahani, 54, of Cresthill Court in Laurel, was crossing the 6800 block of Dorsey Road when she was struck by the dump truck traveling eastbound toward Anne Arundel County. The dump truck fled and Isfahani was pronounced dead at the scene. A doorbell camera at a nearby residence captured video of the truck just after the collision. Police are releasing the video and asking anyone who recognizes the vehicle to call 911. Dorsey Road remains closed in both directions between Douglas Legum Drive and the county line. The investigation is ongoing. ###
