Pedestrian Killed By Truck Near Downtown Cumberland, Md.
CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Police in Cumberland are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a truck near the downtown area.
The Cumberland Times-News reports that the male victim was struck around 2 p.m. Thursday at the junction of Park and Harrison streets near the Amtrak station.
Police say they're withholding the victim's name pending family notification.
