Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Baltimore County

WHITE MARSH (WJZ)-- A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Baltimore County, according to police.

The incident occured around 8:30 p.m. on Route 40 on Allender Road in White Marsh.

Emergency responders declared the pedestrian dead when they arrived.

Police say the driver of the car remained on scene.

The identity of the person killed has not been released. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
