13-Year-Old Girl Injured In Dundalk Hit-And-Run Crash

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a 13-year-old girl in Baltimore County.

Police say the girl was crossing Holabird Avenue near Searles Road when she was struck by a red Mercedes.

The driver fled even though several witnesses tried to stop the man from leaving the scene.

Witnesses say there was also a woman in the front passenger seat.

The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is expected to survive.

The Mercedes should have damage to the front hood of the car.

The vehicle was last seen in the area of Lynch Road and Shore Road.
