Howard Co. Officer Injured By Drunk Driver

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are investigating after a Howard County officer was injured when his patrol car was struck by a driver who authorities believe was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

Police say Marino was flown to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was transported by ambulance to Shock Trauma for treatment.

No charges have been filed.
