Alert Lifted For Owings Mills Schools After Nearby Chinese Restaurant Robbery

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Alert status has been lifted for two Owings Mills schools after an armed robbery was reported in the area.
Baltimore County Police say New Town Elementary and New Town High School were on alert for a short time after the China Wok on Groffs Mill Drive was robbed.
No injuries were reported, but the suspect remains on the loose and a heavy police presence continues in the area.
