Over 1,900 Guns Seized By Police Across Baltimore In 2019

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police have seized over 1,900 guns from across the city in 2019.

That's an average of almost 40 guns every week.

On December 4, 2019, officers assigned to the Northwest District recovered two handguns.

The first gun was recovered in the 4100 block of Penhurst Avenue. A 26-year old man was arrested at the scene.

The second gun was recovered in the 5000 block of Queensberry Avenue.
