Orioles Sign Alvarez, Add More DH Power
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Orioles signed first baseman Pedro Alvarez.
They have been playing Mark Trumbo in right field during spring training, meaning the newly acquired Alvarez figures into a slot as a regular designated hitter.
CBS Sports says the regular starting lineup could look like something like this:

- 2B Jonathan Schoop
- 1B Chris Davis
- CF Adam Jones
- DH Pedro Alvarez
- RF Mark Trumbo
- C Matt Wieters
- SS J.J. Hardy
- LF Hyun Soo Kim
