Orioles Select Preston Palmeiro In MLB Draft
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Orioles are continuing the Palmeiro family tree in Baltimore as they select Preston Palmeiro from NC State in the seventh round of the MLB draft.
Preston Palmeiro, the 211th pick, is the son of former Orioles Rafael Palmeiro and brother of Patrick Palmeiro. Earlier this season the Orioles signed Patrick to a minor-league deal.
