Orioles Recall RHP Preston Guilmet From AAA-Norfolk

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Orioles have recalled RHP Preston Guilmet from AAA-Norfolk.

Guilmet, 26, is 2-1 with a 5.65 ERA (14.1IP, 9ER) and four saves in 12 games for the Tides since being acquired from Cleveland on April 7.

In 2013, Guilmet posted a 1.68 ERA (64.1IP, 12ER), 20 saves and 10.1 strikeouts per 9.0 in 49 games with AAA-Columbus.

He was selected in the ninth round of the 2009 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Arizona.

He will wear #63.
