Orioles Minor League Player Suspended For Violating Drug Policy

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An Orioles minor league player has been suspended for violating the league's drug policy.

Left-handed pitcher Will Dennis has received a 50-game suspension without pay after he tested positive for a stimulant, methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA).

The suspension of Dennis, who currently plays for the Gulf Coast League orioles, will be effective at the start of the 2016 season.

Three other minor league players were also suspended.
