Orioles Manager Buck Showalter Joins Vinny & Rob

Baltimore Orioles manager, Buck Showalter, joined the show to discuss a disappointing season for his Birds. Buck tells the guys while the season did not end the way he and the players wanted to or thought it would and that there wasn't really one thing to be pinpointed as the sole reason why. Buck says the Orioles have more than enough payroll to be competitive, but that the O's still need to play their style of game to be successful. As always, Buck pulls no punches and says that he doesn't want to hear any excuses for the result of the season. He also goes on to say that while he has enjoyed playing meaningful baseball in the month of September, its not enough for him and wants to extend that meaningful baseball into October. Buck praised his coaching staff for creating and perpetuating the kind of culture and Dan Duquette and the rest of management team for providing the best players to fit into that culture. Listen in to how Buck grades his performance as manager and much more!
