Orioles Closer Zach Britton Never Thought Of Being A Closer But Likes The Role
Zach Britton is the closer for the Orioles.
Zach joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Orioles leading the AL East and heading towards the playoffs.
Zach started by talking about how he didn't think much about being a closer but now that he is he really enjoys the role and closing out what his teammates have worked hard on for eight innings.
Zach was asked about if he has given Ed and Steve enough credit for them asking manager Buck Showalter to make him the closer saying "that's funny...hopefully you guys will predict we're winning the world series and you go 2 for 2." Zach also talked about how he hasn't thought about trying to move back to the starting rotation and what he expects from the playoffs.
