One Person Hurt in Rollover Crash on I-270 in MoCo

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- One person was injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 270 in Rockville early Tuesday morning, Montgomery County authorities said.

A pickup truck was heading south on I-270 near Gude Drive about 5:45 a.m. when the driver lost control and the truck rolled over a concrete barrier into the northbound lanes, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer tweeted.

Paramedics transported one person to the hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Piringer wrote.

There's no word yet on what caused the truck to veer into the barrier.
