Officials: Loaded BB Gun Found Inside AACo. Middle School

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- An Anne Arundel County middle school was on a brief lockdown Tuesday, after authorities found a loaded BB gun inside the school's bathroom.

School officials say the discovery was made a Meade Middle School located at 1103 26th Street in Ft. Meade, Maryland.

The school was briefly locked down as authorities used dogs to search the school.

The lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m. when no additional weapons were found.

Meade Middle School will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m., officials say.

There was also a brief lockdown at Wiley H. Bates so authorities could ensure access for medical response.

No one was injured in this incident.
