Officials ID Woman Killed In Hagerstown Crash

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is identifying a 28-year-old pedestrian killed in a collision with an unmarked patrol vehicle in Hagerstown.

The sheriff's office identified the woman Saturday as Lindsay Cyndle Eldessoky of Hagerstown.

The sheriff's office says Eldessoky was killed Thursday after she was struck around 3:30 a.m. by an unmarked patrol vehicle in the 1300-block of Dual Highway. The sheriff's office says deputies gave her first aid but she died at a hospital.

The driver of the patrol vehicle, Deputy First Class Bryan Teets, has been placed on paid administrative leave.
