Officials: 200 Grams Of Heroin Found In Md. Toilet

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Frederick County say they pulled nearly 200 grams of heroin out of a toilet drain during a search of a home this week.

The Frederick News-Post reports the drugs were two to three feet down the toilet drain of a trailer home that was being searched and that deputies pulled up a 135 gram block and a bag with another 61.5 grams.

Frederick County sheriff's deputies went to the trailer in the Crow's Nest Campground in Thurmont on Thursday and arrested 32-year-old Jesse Downs on two warrants. Sheriff's deputies applied for a search warrant after seeing a scale, plastic bags, a knife and several spoons with suspected drug residue.

It was not clear if Downs had an attorney.
