Officers Identified In Sunday's Police-Involved Shooting

PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- Three Anne Arundel county police officers were identified in the police-involved shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Pasadena.

Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man with a handguni n the 900 block of 9th Street.. When the three officers arrived it sparked a shootout and an hour-long barricade.

Thirty-eight year old John Christopher Delich, of the same block, was wounded in his leg sometime during the shootout. Police continue to investigate to the shooting.

Cpl. Luke Ringler, Ofc. First Class Ryan Peacock and Ofc. Aaron Edwards were identified as the officers who were involved in the shootout with police.

The officers are on routine paid administrative leave.
