Officer-Involved Crash In SW Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police responded to a call shortly after 8:30 p.m. for a crash at W. Lombard St and S. Calhoun St that left an on-duty officer injured in a departmental crash.
Members of our leadership team, Mike Mancuso and William MacDonald, are heading to @shocktrauma to see to the condition of our officer who was injured in an on duty motor vehicle accident this evening. We are praying for a speedy recovery. @BaltimorePolice

The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening injuries.
