Off-Duty Police Officer Stabbed In Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) -- An off-duty Baltimore police officer is recovering after he was stabbed.
Police say the officer was walking to his car at around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday when a man approached and threatened to rob him. Police say the attacker stabbed the officer in the leg, and the officer fired his gun. Police say the man ran away, and was not struck by any bullets.
The officer was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
