Ocean City Maryland Up For America's Best Boardwalk

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ)—Ocean City, Maryland is closing in on the top spot to be America's Best Boardwalk of 2016.

The contest is all part of "USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice 2016".

USA Today has gathered 20 boardwalks across the country and are asking voters to choose which is the "ideal summer escape".

Ocean City lovers are encouraged to vote once per day until polls close on Monday, May 23, at noon.

Currently, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is holding top honors.
