BALTIMORE (WJZ) — North County High School was on a modified lockdown this morning due to a threatening text message received by a student.

Normal activities have since resumed at the school after the person who allegedly sent the text was located by police.

The suspect was not near the school or even in Anne Arundel County, officials say.

According to a statement from the school, the person who sent the message is not a student there.

Classes are continuing on a normal schedule. Additional officers still present at school as a precautionary measure.
