Norfolk Tides Embrace Gnome Theme
The Baltimore Orioles' affiliate Norfolk Tides, Triple-A ball club are having a Ron Johnson garden gnomes giveaway promotion this Friday.
But they didn't stop there.

Orioles top prospect, Christian Walker, models the uniforms that the Tides will wear on Friday in honor of the gnome giveaway.
That's right. Gnome uniforms.
That's pretty epic.
It's good to see the teams in the Orioles organization showing some spirit and having fun. These guys don't always get paid that well and these kind of promotions can only grow their fan base. Fans of farm teams tend to cheer for their guy to make it to the majors and succeed from there. Just look at Manny Machado from 2012 until now.
