No Reindeer Required: Santa Driving A Bus In Maryland

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Santa is arriving by bus, not sleigh, in Maryland.

Officials with the Maryland Transit Administration are rolling out their annual Holiday Bus on Tuesday. Transit officials said in a statement that the specially-decorated bus will be driven by Santa and offer free rides on weekdays through Dec. 18.

Transit officials say riders will be greeted by Santa and his elves, who will hand out free candy canes. Holiday music will also play on the bus.

Transit officials say the bus will travel along different routes throughout Baltimore to try to reach as many customers as possible.
