No One Hurt In 2-Alarm Fire At Blakehurst Retirement Community In Towson

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) --  A two-alarm fire breaks out at the Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson.

It happened in the 1000-block of West Joppa Road around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire by 8 a.m.  The fire was contained to the kitchen of one of the units.

No one was hurt and no one was displaced.

West Joppa Road between Chestnut Avenue and Greenwood Road was closed for a time.
