BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- If you're planning a Carnival Cruise this summer, you'll want to read this.

The cruise ship company is now banning customers from bringing bottled water onto its ships.

But says the problem isn't water, it's booze.

The new policy is designed to stop travelers from smuggling alcohol on board.

It takes effect July 9th.
