NFL Will Fine Teams For Posting Unapproved Videos To Facebook, Twitter

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The NFL is cracking down on social media posts and tweets for teams.

As of this weekend, per a report, the NFL will fine teams that post any unapproved videos, including gifs, to their official social media accounts during games.

The first offense garners a $25,000 fine and the second offense carries a $50,000 fine.

Any violation after the second offense can be fined up to $100,000 and constitute the "loss of rights to post League-Controlled Content (including game footage)."
