New Poll Shows Gov. Hogan's Popularity Soaring

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- A new poll just released by our media partner, The Baltimore Sun, and the University of Baltimore shows Governor Larry Hogan's popularity is soaring.

According to the poll, the Republican governor's approval rating among likely voters is at 63 percent.

But his support is tempered within the city of Baltimore, where just 47 percent of voters approve of the job Hogan is doing.

And African-American voters statewide give him a 45 percent approval rating.

The survey of 926 likely voters was conducted Nov. 13 through Nov. 17.
