New Evidence In Adnan Syed's Case Launches New Podcast

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Good news for fans of the popular 'Serial' podcast.

A new chapter is the real-life murder mystery is about the begin.

According to WJZ media partner The Baltimore Sun, there's new evidence and information in the murder case of Adnan Syed.

Three lawyers have put together a podcast that will launch April 13.

Syed is serving a life sentence for the 1999 murder of his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee of Woodlawn.

Syed claims he's innocent and his making his care for an appeals court to toss his conviction.
