4 Students Waiting For School Bus Struck In Montgomery County Crash

MONTGOMERY Co., Md. (WJZ) -- Montgomery County police are investigating a crash where multiple pedestrians were struck Tuesday morning.

According to police, there were two vehicles involved in the crash.

Four John F. Kennedy High School students were waiting for the school bus, when they were struck by one of the vehicles that left the roadway.

One of the students is said to have life threatening injuries from the crash.

The accident happened on Wendy Lane and Georgia Avenue, Aspen Hill. All northbound lanes of Georgia Ave. were closed for the investigation.

Police say five people were transported to area hospitals for treatment, including the four juveniles.

The three other students and the driver who was taken to the hospital are all believed to have non-life threatening injuries.
