Young child in critical condition, three others hospitalized in Baltimore County house fire
A young child is in critical condition, and three others have been hospitalized after what first responders described as an "intense" dwelling fire in Essex on Friday night.

The fire was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane in Essex, Maryland, and is now under control, per Baltimore County Fire Department (BCoFD).
When crews initially arrived at 7 p.m., they witnessed the blaze spreading from one house to another.
Shortly before 8 p.m., officials reported that one person was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Later that evening, Captain Len Stewart of Baltimore County Fire Department confirmed that the individual was under the age of 13-years-old.
Three other patients were taken to the hospital as well for smoke inhalation treatment.
The home is now uninhabitable as it needed to be completely gutted
