Large boat fire spreads to nearby boats in Havre de Grace
BALTIMORE - A large boat fire spread to two other boats at the City Yacht Basin in Havre de Grace, according to the State Fire Marshal.
Officials said a 1988 32-foot Bayliner Avanti caught fire when the owner of the boat was cleaning.
The boat's damage was considered a complete loss.

The fire extensively damaged a boat on one side, and another boat had minor damage.
There were no reports of injuries.
The estimated damage to all three boats and the pier is $300,000.
It took 35 firefighters about an hour to control the fire.
