Five Vehicle Accident Leaves Seven Injured, Including Volunteer Firefighter

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A five vehicle accident leaves seven injured, including a volunteer firefighter, according to Baltimore County Police Department.

The accident happened around 11:27 a.m. and temporarily shut down westbound Route 40, according to the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association.

Seven people were transported to a local hospital. One of the seven is a volunteer firefighter.

The accident was located in Catonsville at the intersection of St. Agnes Lane and Route 40 Westbound, Baltimore National Pike.
