MTA Van, Bus Collide In Downtown Baltimore Injuring 30

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An MTA bus and van collided in downtown Baltimore Wednesday morning, injuring 30 people.

According to the Maryland Transit Administration, the crashed occurred around 7:12 a.m. when a MTA mobility van and a MTA bus collided at the intersection of North Avenue and McCullough Street.

The mobility van was not carrying any passengers at the time of the collision, while the bus was carrying 30 people.

The operators of the van and bus were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries along with 15 adults and 3 children.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
