1 Killed, 3 Injured After MTA Bus, Pickup Truck Collide

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore man is dead after the pickup truck he was driving collided into an MTA bus Monday evening.

City officers responded to the 3100 block of Washington Boulevard for a report of a serious accident involving a city bus around 6 p.m.

Officers saw a white 2005 Ford F250 that had struck an MTA bus and a light pole. The 40-year-old driver of the truck, Sven James Kirtz of the 300 block of S. Mount Street, was taken to Shock Trauma where he died a short time later.
