MSP Officer Captures Pokemon At 'National Night Out' Event

SALISBURY, Md. (WJZ) -- Law enforcement gathered for the National Night Out in Salisbury City Park on Tuesday evening showed Pokemon Go players how it's done.

A Maryland State Police officer snagged the Pokemon "Krabby" at the event, in a capture that was later tweeted by the Salisbury Police Department's official account.

A wild "Nidoran" also appeared.

It's a sign that even police can appreciate the addictive game, which has become a magnet for crime-related headlines since being rolled out.
