'Motown The Musical' Comes To The Baltimore Hippodrome

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--It's one of the more electrifying musicals of our time.

Motown invades Charm City and the musical is on a four day run at the Hippodrome in downtown Baltimore.

Marcus Washington spoke one of the stars of the production about all the excitement and what people can expect.

It's the sounds of 40 classic hits combined in one extraordinary musical.

Motown the Musical has made its way to Charm City's Hippodrome Theater, ready to entertainment!

"It fuels us to see people enjoying the show. To have people get up and dance while you dancing, it's the best feeling ever," said Rashad Naylor.

Rashad Naylor is one of the stars of the show, playing a number of history figures in the Motown history.

"There are the moves and the steps and things of that nature that just throw you into it. As you know, you saw it last night, the show is like a cannon, it goes and it goes and it goes," he said.

Nearly three hours of non-stop music the classics like, "My Girl," "My Guy," and "Stop in the Name of Love".

"I think most people are going to be moved by the love story of Barry and Diana. That is one of the more touching parts of the show," Naylor said.

Motown runs at the Hippodrome until Sunday.
