Motorcyclist Dies Of Injuries After Collision With Truck

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a motorcyclist injured in a collision with a pickup truck in Montgomery County Police has died.

Officers say 59-year-old Thomas Steven Rose of Silver Spring died Saturday at a local hospital, where he was taken after the May 9 crash.

Authorities say Rose was operating a motorcycle on Randolph Road. Police say a pickup truck driven by 43-year-old Mario Evert Carrasco Gonzales of Silver Spring was traveling south on Bushey Drive.

Police say the truck tried to cross Randolph Road and collided with the motorcycle in the intersection.

The collision remains under investigation.
