Motorcyclist Dies After Being Struck By SUV In Elkridge

ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ)—A motorcyclist has died following a collision on Saturday afternoon.

It happened just before 5:00 p.m. on Washington Boulevard.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that a motorcyclist was entering the highway in the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard when they were struck by a 2014 GMC Acadia.

The motorcyclist, who police identified as 64-year-old Gregory Trout, of Jessup, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Trout failed to yield the right-of-way to the SUV which resulted in the fatal collision.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.
