More Than 3 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized From Car

ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) -- More than three pounds of marijuana was seized from a vehicle off Route 665 in Annapolis Wednesday.

Annapolis police received information from another agency that a vehicle was involved in illegal drug activity.

The car was located on Forest Drive and conducted a traffic stop along Route 665.

Officers could smell marijuana coming from the car and a K-9 positively identified its presence.

The vehicle was searched and the marijuana was found in the trunk.

The street value of the drugs were more than $57,000.

The driver, 20-year-old Edward Shin, of Crofton.

Shin was arrest and charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Shin was released after posting a $25,000 bond.
