More Than 11.6K Filed For Unemployment Last Week In Maryland

ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) -- More than 11,600 people filed for unemployment last week in Maryland.

According to the state, 11,606 people filed for unemployment insurance the week ending on May 1. That's up slightly from the previous week when 11,491 people filed claims.
